changes everything.

Most people don’t fail because they don’t know what to do, they fail because nothing’s on the line. This makes it real.

Set your goal

Choose what you're committing to: a 5K run, 500 calories burned, or consecutive days training. If you can track it, it counts.

Put money behind it

You and your friends each put in the same amount. The challenge starts when everyone’s in.

You doing the morning run challenge this week?

Already in. $20 each?

Actually make it $30. I'm not losing this one!

we'll see about that 😂

Your device tracks everything

Your Apple Watch connects directly to Arin. Every run, every calorie, every training day is verified automatically. So when the challenge ends, there's no debate about who showed up.

Frequently asked questions

Is the app free?

Yes. Arin is free to download and use. The only money involved is what you and your friends agree to put into a challenge together.

How does it work?

Set a fitness goal, invite your friends, and start a challenge together. Everyone puts in the same amount and your progress is tracked automatically through your device. Hit your goal and earn your share of the group. Miss it and it goes to the friends who followed through.

How much money do I need to join?

Each challenge has a minimum of $10 per person. Your group decides the amount together before the challenge begins — the higher the commitment, the harder everyone trains.

What happens to the money?

Everyone in the challenge puts in the same amount. At the end, the pot is split evenly among those who completed their goal. A 15% platform fee is taken from the total before payout. Miss your goal and your share goes to the people who showed up. For example: four friends each put in $10. The total pot is $40. After the platform fee, $34 is split among whoever hit their goal. Show up and you're rewarded. Don't and you funded their win.

How long are challenges?

Challenges can last anywhere from a single day up to a full week. You can also set different goals for each day depending on what you’re training for.

Can I join multiple challenges at the same time?

Not right now. You can only be in one active challenge at a time to keep the focus on following through.

How is my progress tracked?

Everything is tracked automatically through your device using Apple Health.

Does Arin work with my Garmin or Whoop?

Arin currently supports Apple Watch only. Garmin and Whoop integration is coming in a future update.

Is Apple Watch required?

Yes, for now. Arin verifies challenge completion through Apple Watch. If you don't have one yet, it's the only wearable you'll need to get started.
